When my fiancée and I decided to get engaged we went to a local "big name" jewelers because we did not know much about purchasing a diamond and ring. Although they were informative we felt a little let down by the service we received. We went ahead and purchased our ring from them any way and waited, in excitement, two weeks before getting the phone call that our ring was available to be picked up. When we got there we discovered that they had used the wrong item # for our band and they mounted our diamond in the wrong setting. We were very disappointed.This was no small detail, and I did not want to deal with them anymore. While trying to educate myself on jewelry and diamonds I found the Diacan web site.I read every page and was pleased with the amount of information that was provided.We decided to purchase our diamond and band separately and requested info on two of the diamonds available on the listing. Within one day we got an e-mail back with detailed information on both diamonds.I was very impressed with the service. When I called and spoke to Linda about which diamond would be more suitable for our band she was very detailed and informative.I was relieved. I was finally getting answers to my many questions! We decided on a diamond and Linda shipped it out on Friday. Monday afternoon I was looking at it in my hand! The Jeweler who set our diamond was impressed with the quality and especially the price.We had no doubts that we had made a good purchase, but he confirmed it.
